Public land is granted free of charge to the Monastery of Panagia Paramythia Afantoutranslated

A section of public property with a total area of 3,143.22 square meters is granted free of charge and by ownership to the Holy Monastery of Panagia Paramythia Afantou by decision of the General Directorate of Public Property and Community Assets of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance. The concession concerns part of the public estate with A.B.K. 11431, located in the Afantou Municipal Unit, with cadastral data Volume 26, Sheet 137, File 7493 and Portion 3699 of Gaion Afantou. The decision was issued based on Article 221 of Law 4920/2022 with a positive opinion of the competent Public Lands Committee.

According to the decision, the land is granted to the legal entity of public law with the name "Holy Androa Community Monastery of the Most Holy Theotokos of Paramythia" in order to serve the religious, cultic, charitable and social purposes of the Holy Monastery. As stated in the relevant documents, the Monastery already uses the specific public property, in which there are buildings that house its activities.
