Official start of the new academic year of the Culture Foundation and the School of Hagiographytranslated

With the official opening ceremony of the activities for the new educational and cultural year 2026-2027, the "St. Eugene of Aitolos" Cultural Foundation of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania, together with the School of Byzantine Hagiography "Manouil Panselinos" continues its creative course.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 6:30 in the afternoon, in the meeting room of the Municipal Council of Agrinio, in the presence of His Eminence the Metropolitan of Aetolia and Acarnania Mr. Damaskinos.

The beginning of the new period marks the continuation and further development of an important effort of our Local Church in the field of education, culture and the arts, with a focus on people and especially the new generation.

The Cultural Foundation "Saint Eugene of Aitolos" continues in the new year to develop a rich program of educational, artistic and cultural activities, seeking to offer children, young people and adults opportunities for learning, creative expression, cooperation and meaningful contact with the cultural and spiritual tradition of our country.
