The patron saint of Veroia, St. Anthony the Younger, is celebrating – Program of Massestranslated

The city of Veroia will celebrate with splendor during the two days of July 31st and August 1st the summer festival of its patron saint, Saint Anthony of Neos, in the Pilgrimage Church of the same name, to which, as every year, on the occasion of the Feast of the Advancement of the Holy Cross, the Holy Cross from the Holy Pilgrimage of Panagia Sumela will be transferred. On Friday, July 31, at 7:00 pm, the reception of the Holy Cross will take place and then a Solemn High Priestly Vespers will be celebrated. A pandemic litany of the Holy Relics of Saint Anthony and the Holy Cross will follow in the main streets of the city.
At 11:00 p.m. the established Holy Vigil will be held.
On Saturday, August 1, at 7:00 am, the High Priestly Mass and the established Consecration will be held, presided over by our Pastor Mr. Panteleimonos.
In the evening of the same day, at 7:00 p.m., the Meteorite Resurrection Vespers will be celebrated.
