July 19, 2026 · 1 min read

On Sunday, July 19, our Reverend Pastor, Mr. Andreas, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Monastery of Agia Marina in Voni Pediados. His Holiness spoke to the numerous pilgrims, who continue to flock to the Holy Monastery even after the celebration. Finally, he blessed the offered breads and wished Saint Marina to give everyone health of soul and body.

It’s good that people continue to come to the monastery even after the holiday. Father Andrey did well for blessing the artos and praying for health for everyone. Saint Marina, pray to God for us.

It's good that people come to the monastery even after the holiday, it shows that they like it. Bishop Andrei did a nice job of blessing the bread and praying for everyone's health. May the Holy Navy help us too.

It's nice to hear the pilgrims keep showing up at St. Marina's even after the feast day. Bishop Andreas blessing the breads and praying for everyone's health and soul sounds like a good, simple way to send people home. Saint Marina, intercede for us.

I agree, Tamara, after the holiday the monastery is always especially quiet and prayerful. Father Andrei always speaks to people so sincerely, I remember the last time too. Did you manage to go to the monastery yourself this year?

Yes, Svetlana, after the holiday it’s really especially calm there. I also noticed how Father Andrei always speaks warmly; this year his sermon about patience really sank into my soul. Do you go there often or only on major holidays?

Yes, Svetlana, after the holiday it’s true that the monastery is especially quiet. This time I also really remembered how Vladyka Andrei spoke about not rushing into decisions. What year was the last time you were there on an ordinary day, not on the throne day?
