Double fruit of love and sacrifice from the Holy Metropolitanate of Rethymnon and Aulopatamos in Congotraduit

With the blessing and guidance of the Very Reverend Metropolitan of Rethymnon and Aulopatamos Prodomos, another fruit – indeed a double one – of the Department of External Mission of the Holy Metropolitanate of Rethymnon and Aulopatamos was realized in the distant Democratic Republic of Congo. The first days of September completed the inauguration of a Primary School in the village Sep Kazempe, near the city of Kolwezi (Southern Congo) and the Opening Ceremony of a new Kindergarten in the capital of the country, Kinshasa (Central Congo).

Both the renovation of the Primary School, where about 700 children study, as well as the exultation of the Kindergarten, where 80 children will study, constitute an exclusive Gift (35,000 euros) from the Department of External Mission of the Holy Metropolitanate of Rethymnon and Aulopatamos.

Following a relevant summons, both by the Very Reverend Metropolitan of Kinshasa Theodosios and by the Most Venerable Bishop of Constantinople Cosmas, as well as with the blessing of our Very Reverent Archbishop Prodomos, he was present at the inauguration of the Primary School and the Opening Ceremony of the Kindergarten as a Representative of the Holy Metropolitanate of Rethymnon and…
