The work of the 3rd Regional Growth Conference (Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Regional Development Conference) began yesterday, November 3, 2026 with the participation of representatives of politics, self-government, the academic community and the business world. The opening of the conference was attended by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Maroneia and Komotini, Mr. Panteleimon, who responded to the honorary invitation of the organizers. During his brief greeting, His Eminence praised the importance of the conference as a leading institution for dialogue on the future of the Akriti Region.
