The Litany of the Voulgaritissa Virgin Hieromartyr and 10 New Entries in the Repository of Intangible Cultural Heritagetranslated

The Litany of the Venerable and Life-Crowned Icon of the Panagia Voulgaritissa, the Koulouri of Archangel Rodos, the Traditional Zupanik Art of Petra, the Kabontoritic Dance, the Kolio Kabylis Epirus, the Lazarines of Livanias Serra, the Feast of Saint Paraskevi in Kalarrytas Ioannina, the Sergianas in Krania Korinthias, the public performance of the custom "Kalogiani" of Sarakatsans in P.E. Rodopis, and the Easter Custom of Rodani in the Community of Apozari of the Prefecture of Kastoria are the new entries being added to the Repository of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Greece. As reported by the announcement from the Ministry of Culture, with the addition of ten new entries, the National Repository of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Greece is enriched. The Ministry of Culture, implementing since 2006 the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003), after systematic processing by the Directorate of Modern Cultural Heritage and the advice of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Advisory Board, decided on these new entries to the National Repository, which now numbers 199 items.
