Work continues at the Spiritual Center of Agios Dimitrios Mavropigi in Ptolemaidatranslated

The Spiritual Center of the Holy Church of Agios Dimitrios Mavropigis in Ptolemaida, under construction, was visited on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, by His Eminence, Metropolitan of Floris, Prespa and Eordaia, Mr. Irenaios, in order to see the progress of the work up close. The construction work of the Spiritual Center is proceeding at an intensive pace. His Eminence, accompanied by the responsible technicians, toured the premises of the building and was informed in detail about the next stages of the project.

At the same time, at the beginning of the spring of 2027, it is planned to start the construction of the new Holy Church of Agios Dimitrios Mavropigis in Ptolemaida, as the required Church Building permit has already been issued. This is an important development, which paves the way for the implementation of another church project.

The progress of the Spiritual Center and the preparation for the construction of the new Church create the conditions for strengthening the religious and spiritual life of the parish. The two projects are progressing with the wish and interest of our Reverend Pastor, with the aim of creating spaces that will serve the needs of the faithful.
