The former Archbishop of Canada Sotirios talks to the journalist Theodoros Kalmoukos about his journey, his feelings, the issues that need to be resolved in the Archdiocese of Canada, he even talks about death.

The interview "National Preacher": Your Honor, let's start by asking what feelings you have now that after more than half a century of high priesthood in Canada you are now former?

Archbishop Sotirios: I am possessed by feelings of peace, serenity and how I will spend the rest of my life in Christ.

"E.K.": Do you have an opinion or comment about your successor, Apostolos from New Jersey?

Archbishop Sotirios: Our acquaintance is short. I have learned a lot about his abilities and I am sure that everything will be fine. I will give him any help he asks of me.

Perhaps the most important thing in this conversation is what he says about peace and tranquility after 52 years of service. Not everyone can do it. I wonder if he now plans to visit Greece more often or if he will stay in Canada.

It is good that he remembers peace and tranquility after so many years. 52 years is not a joke, especially for a driver like me, after a shift I also just want silence. I wonder if he will stay in Canada, as Maxim writes.
