On Saturday July 25, the day on which our Church honors the Dormition of Saint Anna, Mother of the Virgin Mary, Rev. Our Metropolitan Mr. Andreas went to Kassanou Pediados, where he celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Church of the same name. His Holiness, after preaching the Divine Word, blessed the offered breads and wished many and blessed years.

Glory to God! I liked that Metropolitan Andrei preached and blessed the artos there, at the church in Kassanoi. The Feast of St. Anne is always a good occasion to pray for our mothers as well.

It was nice that Metropolitan Andrei preached right there, at the church in Kassanoi, and blessed the artos. I remember going with my wife to the shrine of St. Ana in the neighboring village, also with blessed bread at home. Praise God for such a day.
