The Metropolitan of Kydonia will celebrate his denominationstranslated

The Holy Metropolis of Kydonia and Apokoronou announces that on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the day on which our Holy Church honors the memory of the Holy Apostle Titus, the first Bishop of Crete, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kydonia and Apokoronou, Mr. Titos, will lead his nominations. The sacred services will be held at the Holy Church of Saints Peter and Paul, according to the following schedule:

Monday, August 24, 2026 Time 7:00 p.m. – Great Solemn Vespers.

Tuesday, August 25, 2026 Time 7:00 am – Orthros and then Solemn High Priestly Divine Liturgy.

After the end of the sacred services, His Eminence Metropolitan Mr. Titos will receive the solemn wishes of the holy Clergy, the Authorities and the pious people.

The faithful are invited to participate in the liturgical events and to honor the memory of Saint Titus the Apostle, the disciple and accomplice of the Apostle Paul, the first Bishop and enlightener of the Church of Crete.
