Australian Archbishop Makarios in the "City of Churches"translated

On the afternoon of Friday, August 21, the Most Reverend Archbishop of Australia Mr. Makarios arrived in Adelaide, in the "city of Churches", as it is called, where he will make a two-day pastoral visit, with the aim of communicating with the clergy and people of the Holy Diocese of Adelaide and blessing them. His Eminence was given a warm and cordial welcome, at Adelaide Airport, by the Most Reverend Bishop of Adelaide, Mr. Silouanos, clergy of the First Diocese, the President of the Intercommunity Committee, Mr. Vladimiros Devrelis, the Director of the Greek Orthodox College of St. George, Mr. Ambrosios Kasarchis and other prominent members of Of Greek descent.
During his two-day visit to Adelaide, the Archbishop will have contacts with South Australian officials, while on Saturday he will celebrate the Inauguration of the Holy Church of the Holy Martyrs Raphael, Nicholas and Irene.
