Thousands of believers at the Praises of the Virgin Mary in Nea Michanionatranslated

With the participation of a large number of believers, the Solemn Vespers and the Procession of the Praises of the Most Holy Theotokos were celebrated on Friday afternoon in the First Pilgrimage Church of Panagia Faneromeni in Nea Michaniona.

From the afternoon hours, the attendance of the faithful to the Holy Church was continuous. Hundreds of pilgrims of all ages, from Thessaloniki and the wider region, rushed to Nea Michaniona to worship the historical icon of Panagia Faneromeni and participate in the sacred services.

The Solemn Vespers was officiated by the Most Holy Bishop of Skopelos, Mr. Nikodimos, flanked by the Metropolitans of Symi, Mr. Chrysostomos, of Trikki, Gardiki and Pyli, Mr. Chrysostomos, and of Nea Krini and Kalamaria, Mr. Ioustinos.

A multitude of priests and deacons from the Holy Metropolis of Nea Krini and Kalamaria and from other Metropolises as well as from Mount Athos, participated in the liturgical events and supported the archpriests.
