One-day "Escape" of Neo I.M. Limassol: Pilgrimage, Hiking and Action in Nature!translated
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Youth Community of the Holy Metropolis of Limassol and the Student Association of the Orthodox Christian Tradition of the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) co-organized with great success a one-day excursion to the mountains of Kakomalli. The excursion began early in the morning with a pilgrimage to the historic church of Panagia Kyra in Louvara, where the young people had the opportunity to worship the icon of Our Lady and to be guided around the site.
Afterwards, the participants went to the Excursion Area of Kakomalli, from where the hike on the nature trail began. During the hike, the young people had the opportunity to take part in an original interactive game, in which they were asked to carry out various missions and complete a variety of challenges, cultivating the spirit of cooperation, teamwork and creativity. This beautiful day ended with a joint meal at the picnic area, in an atmosphere of joy, thanksgiving and creative interaction.
