It's cool that so many families with children came to the square. I liked that it was combined with the Byzantine holidays and that it showed the traditional Karagiosis with the hands of Thasos Tsonis. I wonder if there are more such performances planned in our parish this summer?

It’s a pity that we don’t do this in Nizhny. Otherwise, I would go with my niece, she just loves puppet stories. I wonder if the figures of Thasos Tsonis are really all hand-carved from leather?

I am glad that you also liked the combination with Byzantine holidays - this always goes well in our parish. Tasos Tsonis is truly a master, his figurines can be seen even from the far rows. Did you walk with your children or just pass by the square?

It’s a pity that there is no such thing in Nizhny, Nadezhda. Here in Voronezh they rarely show this either, but my niece would definitely be delighted. Thasos Tsonis’s figures are indeed all hand-carved from leather, he himself talked about this in an interview, and you can see from the details - every wrinkle on the face is worked out. Maybe it’s worth writing to the local cultural center, maybe they’ll be interested?

It's good that so many families gathered, it really was a family atmosphere. In our parish, they also like to combine tradition with such performances, especially when they are also masterful figures of Tsonis. Did you hear if they will be at our church festival in August?
