Executives of the Youth Center of the Dormition Parish of Corinth were welcomed by Hierapyntis Kyrillostranslated

At noon on Monday, July 20, 2026, Rev. Metropolitan of Ierapyntis and Sitia Mr. Kyrillos welcomed at the Holy Cathedral of Agia Foteini Ierapetra a group of pilgrims from the Parish of the Holy Dormition Church of the Theotokos Settlement of Corinth, which is ministered by Rev. Iedesimol from Kalamavka Ierapetra. Prot. Ioannis Delimbaltas, Vicar of the aforementioned Parish of the First Metropolis of Corinth. The pilgrims were accompanied by Mr. Marios Georgiadis, High School Principal and Theology Professor, and their visit is part of their pilgrimage to Crete, on the occasion of the great theatrical performance staged by the Youth Center of the Parish Synagogues of their Parish, entitled "Signs of Holiness in the Age of Leprosy" in memory of Saint Eumenios the Younger.

His Eminence welcomed the pilgrims with heartfelt speeches, whom he congratulated for staging their last theatrical performance which highlights the sacrificial offering of Saint Eumenios (Saridakis) as well as the Reverend of Spinalonga Hieromonk Chrysantho Katsoulogiannakis to the people who fell ill with leprosy in the last century and experienced the drama, the pain, stigma and…
