Beginning of the new academic year of the School of Byzantine Music of the Holy Metropolis of Lefkadatranslated

The start of the new academic year at the School of Byzantine Music of the Holy Diocese of Lefkada and Ithaca took place on the evening of Wednesday, September 30, 2026. In the Holy Church of Saint John the Theologian of Lefkada, Vespers of the feast of the patron Saint of the School, Saint Romanos Melodos, whose memory is commemorated on October 1, was preceded by the Reverend Metropolitan of Lefkada and Ithaca Mr. Theophilos, flanked by Priests of the Metropolis, in the presence of the School's students.

The Holy Lecture was led by the Director of the School, Mr. Konstantinos Lanaras, head of the dance of teachers and students of the School.
