Circular of the Metropolitan of Mani on the value and protection of the seatranslated

The Reverend Metropolitan of Mani Mr. Chrysostomos issued a circular on the protection of the thalassa in which he emphasizes that the sea is one of the most beautiful and majestic works of God, while he points out the blessing we Greeks have that our homeland is surrounded by it. The Circular in detail:
My dear Christians,
God out of love created the invisible and spiritual world and after that, the visible and material world and finally man. And of course creating the whole creation He also created the sea with His Omnipotence and Omniscience.
The Holy Bible writes in the first book of Genesis: "And God said, let the waters be gathered together... and the waters were gathered together, and the dry land was formed... and God called the dry land and the water systems he called seas. And God saw that it was good" (Gen. 1,9-10).
The sea, therefore, is one of the most beautiful and magnificent works of divine Creation. Both in the Old and in the New Testament the sea is mentioned many times. The Prophet David writes in the Prologue Psalm: "This sea, the great and spacious, there creeps, where there was no number, small after big creatures" (Ps. 103,25).
But also the prophet...
