Ethics – Society and Education" at the Heart of the 9th Pan-Orthodox Theological Conferencetranslated

The Pan-Orthodox Theological Association "KAIROS – For the Renewal of Religious Education" is organizing the 9th Pan-Orthodox Theological Conference from Friday, October 9 to Sunday, October 11, 2026, in the premises of the Theology School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with the theme "ETHICS – SOCIETY AND EDUCATION: A Theological Perspective." This autumn event focuses on the relationship between ethics and education as well as society, among other things, on the integration of the subject of Ethics into Primary and Secondary Education, but also on the general importance of cultivating ethical values in contemporary times.

In a message to the Theologians, the President of the Pan-Orthodox Theological Association "KAIROS" and Professor at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Fr. Peter Panagiotopoulos, highlights, among other things, that the 9th Pan-Orthodox Theological Conference aims to reveal "the dynamic and multifaceted relationship between ethics, education, and society in the modern world," a reality characterized by "rapid technological changes, cultural pluralism, social fragmentation, and ethical uncertainty."
