By the Grace of God, this year's three-day camp for the mothers of minor children of the Holy Diocese of Neapolis and Stavroupolis, in the blessed facilities of the camp in Poseidi, was completed. The three days were another blessed opportunity for meeting, prayer, spiritual cultivation and fraternal fellowship for the mothers of our Holy Metropolis, in an atmosphere of joy, love and unity.

Our theme this year was "Forgiveness", a virtue that is the heart of the Gospel and the foundation of family life. Through the speeches, discussions, common prayer, participation in the Divine Liturgy and experiential group activities, we had the opportunity to reflect, to be spiritually strengthened and to renew our decision to fight with love and a spirit of forgiveness within our families and in the wider environment.

It was nice to see that they chose the theme "Συγχωρητικότηταση" - exactly what we lack most often when arguing with the kids or spouse after a long day. I especially remember the part with the group activities; as if it is learned better than just from sermons. Thanks for writing about it.

Yes, Daniela, the theme of forgiveness hits hard when you get home tired and everyone wants something from you. At our place, after talking to the priest about it, we started saying a short prayer together with the wife before dinner - it calms us down better than any advice.
