New clergy of the Archdiocese of Belgrade in Serbia Porphyriostranslated

His Beatitude Patriarch of Serbia Mr. Porfirios welcomed the new clergy of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovici on August 21, 2026, at the Patriarchal Palace in Belgrade. The reception took place in a cordial and pleasant atmosphere, while a special blessing for the young clergy was the paternal teachings they heard from the Patriarch Mr. Porphyry.

His Beatitude reminded those present of the greatness of the gift that had been given to them, but also of the responsibility and reverence with which they must approach the ministry entrusted to them, in order to preserve and multiply God's gift. At the same time, the Patriarch invited the young workers in the Lord's vineyard to zealously carry out the ministry entrusted to them and to persist in the mission among those who have not yet known the beauty and power of the Orthodox faith.

The newly ordained priests and deacons had the opportunity to share with His Beatitude their experiences in church ministry and pastoral ministry.
