Start of registrations at the Schools of Hagiography and Mosaics of the Diocese of Rethymnotranslated

The Holy Metropolis of Rethymno and Avlopotamos announces the start of registrations, from Thursday, September 17, 2026, for the new academic year 2026-2027, at the Schools of Hagiography and Mosaics of the Holy Metropolis. The two Schools, thanks to the generous and philanthropic sponsorship of our expatriate from America, Mr. Georgios Siganos, continue their creative and educational work in the new year, offering those interested the opportunity to learn about and learn the arts of Hagiography and Mosaic, two important expressions of ecclesiastical art and tradition.

The courses are held at the Center for Cultural and Social Ministry "Theomitor" of the Holy Metropolis of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, while attendance at both Schools is provided free of charge.

The Consecration for the start of the new year's courses will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, Mr. Prodromos.
