The Brotherhood of Hierosymatics of Attica honored its patron, Holy Roman Melodos (VIDEO – PHOTO)translated

With particular brilliance, the ecclesiastical order and the required hierosopy were completed by the Archpriest Panhierariches Evening Service for the memory of the Holy Father Roman Melodos, patron and overseer of the Brotherhood of Hierosymatics of the Attica Region "Roman Melodos & John Damascus". The procession concluded at the Cathedral and Metropolitan Church of Athens, with a large attendance of faithful and representatives of the political, self-governing, and hierosymatic world.

The service was presided over by the Very Reverend Bishop of Christopolis Barnabas, Protosygellos of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens. Present for the prayers were the Very Reverend Metropolitan Demetrios and Ignotos.

Political and Self-Governing Representations Representatives of the Hellenic Government were the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Haris Theoharis and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Basil Spanakis.
