Metropolitan Pavlos at the inauguration of new Health facilities in Corinthtranslated

On Monday, July 6, 2026, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Corinth Mr. Pavlos attended and blessed two particularly important projects that strengthen the provision of primary and secondary health care to the local residents. The first stop of the day was the Polyvalent Regional Clinic of Agioi Theodoros, where His Holiness performed the Consecration Service on the occasion of its renaming to "Multipotent Regional Clinic of Agioi Theodoros - Christos Kammilatos", in honor of the late physician, who for a number of years ministered with self-denial and high sense of responsibility to the local community.

Subsequently, His Eminence went to the General Hospital of Corinth, where he attended the opening ceremony of the new, fully renovated and modern Emergency Department (ED), a project that essentially upgrades the infrastructure of the Hospital and contributes decisively to the improvement of health services provided to the residents and visitors of Corinth.

Χριστός Ανέστη! Καλό έργο έκανε ο Μητροπολίτης Παύλος που ευλόγησε και τα δύο. Ιδιαίτερα Θεοδώρους εξυπηρετούσε τον κόσμο με πολλή υπομονή. Ελπίζω το νέο Τmicroήμα Επειγόντων να βοηθήσει πραγματικά τους ανθρώπους μας.

It's good that there was also Agheasma at the inauguration. I like that they put the name of Dr. Kamillatos at the polyclinic in Agioi Theodoroi - I also heard it from a neighbor who went there often, he said that he was a patient and serious man. I hope that the new TEP at the hospital in Corinth will reduce the wait at the emergency room, because sometimes it's a bit difficult.

It’s good that both places were consecrated. It was especially correct that they named the clinic in Agios Theodoros after Dr. Kammilatos - he really treated many locals with his soul, I remember how there was a line to see him. Hopefully the new ER in Corinth will be faster now.

Good that the Sanctification took place in both. I also remember Dr. Cammilato from long ago, when I used to go to Corinth for examinations; he really waited patiently for the people. I hope the new T.E.P. to improve waiting times, because that is where we suffer the most.

Χριστός Ανέστη! I agree with you, Youssef. Dr. Khaled was really very patient with the patients and treated everyone as if they were his family. I hope that the new emergency department will open soon, because in Homs we know very well how much people need fast and clean service.

It’s good that they remembered Kammilatos, I also heard how he is still remembered with kind words in Agios Theodoros. But as for the speed in the new TEP - I wonder how many reception places there are now and whether there are enough staff? Here in Yekaterinburg there is often a problem with this.
