The series of talks "Orthodox Logos" of the Holy Metropolis of Belgium, has the special honor of inviting you to an excellent talk, which will take place at the Ambiorix Orthodox Center (Square Ambiorix 2 – 1000 Bruxelles – Métro Schuman), on Monday 28 September 2026 at 19:30.

The speaker will be Archimandrite Ephraim Triantafyllopoulos, Archdeacon of the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotido.

The title of his talk is: "The Benefits of Confession."

The lecture will be held in French.

Looking forward to this. I’ve always found confession brings a real sense of relief, like finally putting down a heavy bag after a long shift. Shame it’s in French though – might have to brush up before the 28th.

It is interesting that the lecture is about the benefits of confession. I also always feel like I'm taking a heavy bag off my shoulders, as Luke said. It is a pity that it is in French, because there are many of our people in Brussels who would also listen. Maybe there will be a recording later?

J’ai hâte d’y être, l’Archimandrite Éphraïm parle toujours avec beaucoup de bon sens. La comparaison du sac lourd que Luke et Людмила ont faite est exactement ce que je ressens après chaque confession. Dommage pour la langue, mais je noterai la date dans mon agenda et je prendrai peut-être un ami francophone du quartier.
