In his speech, His Eminence referred to the life of Saint Prokopius who inspires us for a radical spiritual conversion, as he becomes our model for a continuous daily struggle for virtue and he wished the celebratory Vicar of the Holy Church, His Eminence Archimandrite Prokopios Baltzidis.

The part about St Procopius calling us to a “radical spiritual turn” really struck me — it’s not just a one-off conversion but that daily grind for virtue he lived. Fr Procopius must have been pleased to hear his patron saint held up like that on his name day. A good reminder for all of us.
