Overwhelming Holy Vigil in Evangelistria of Nafplion – In Adoration the Holy Icon of the Virgin of Olivestranslated

With special enthusiasm in a church full of believers, on Sunday October 4, 2026, a Holy Vigil was held in the Holy Church of the Evangelistria of Nafplio, in the Pronoia district, with the illuminated castle of Palamidi in the background. During the Holy Services, the choir of the "En Argolidi Association of Musicophiles of Constantinople - Patriarchal Analogue of Demosthenes Paikopoulos" sang, rendering the hymns of Agrypnia with particular intensity.

The Holy Vigil was presided over by His Eminence Archimandrite Mr. Ieronymos, Exarch of the Holy Sepulcher in Greece, who also celebrated the Divine Liturgy.

A special blessing for the faithful is the presence in the Holy Church of the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary of the Mount of Olives from Jerusalem, which has been placed in a few days of pilgrimage. Every day, a multitude of believers from Nafplio, Argolis and from many regions of Greece come to the Holy Church to worship the Holy Icon and pray.
