A day of joy for the clergy and the faithful of the Republic of Moldova as today, Sunday July 12, 2026, the enthronement of the new Metropolitan of Bessarabia, Mr. Antonio. In the Holy Church "Three Holy Hierarchs" in Chisinau, after the Divine Liturgy held by a meeting of 9 hierarchs of the Romanian Orthodox Church, pre-eminent of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Moldavia and Bukovina Mr. Theophanis, representative of His Beatitude Patriarch of Romania Mr. Daniel.

After the Divine Liturgy, the Metropolitan of Moldavia and Bukovina Mr. Theofanis performed the enthronement of the new Metropolitan of Bessarabia.
