The Archdiocese of Lublin and Chelm honored an official of the Serbian Patriarchatetranslated

On Sunday, November 19, a delegation of the Serbian Patriarchate participated in the Divine Liturgy held in the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Lublin, presided over by the Archbishop of Lublin and Chelm Mr. Abel. On this occasion, Archbishop Abel, on behalf of the Council of Bishops of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church, honored the subdeacon of the Serbian Patriarch, Mr. Dejan Nakic, who also serves as the Financial Director of the Serbian Patriarchate, with the Order of Saint Mary Magdalene, Second Degree.
"The meeting provided an opportunity to emphasize the fraternal ties that have existed between the Diocese of Lublin and Chelm and the Serbian Orthodox Church for many decades," the Lublin and Chelm Diocese said.
The Reverend Mr. Abel blessed Mr. Nakić's companions with an icon of Our Lady of Lublin.
