Thiras Amfilochios: There is no greater security than trust in Godtranslated

During the two days of July 11 and 12, the Holy Church of St. Paisios of Agioreitos in Mesaria, Santorini celebrated magnificently. In particular, on Saturday 11 July in the afternoon, the High Priestly Vespers was celebrated and on Sunday 12 July the Orthros and the High Priestly Divine Liturgy were celebrated.

After the end of the Divine Liturgy, the procession of the holy icon of the Holy One took place and the offered food was blessed.

The holy services were presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Thira, Amorgos and the Islands, Mr. Amfilochios, who in his sermon inspired by the life of Saint Paisios called on the faithful, if they really wish to honor the people-loving modern Saint, to try to imitate him in his great faith in God, in his reverence and in his love for God and his fellow man.

Characteristically, he repeated to the dense congregation the relevant teachings of the Holy One: "There is no greater security than trusting in God. Thanks for the article. I especially remember how Bishop Amphilohius quoted the words of Saint Paisius: “There is no greater security than trust in God.” This is the most important thing. In our garden, too, sometimes the wind is such that you think you can only rely on God.
