Chapel Doors and Solemn Vespers of Agios Paisios in Levidi Arcadiatranslated

On Saturday 11 July 2026, the Vigil of the Tyranny of the Holy Chapel of Saints Paisios of Agioreitos, James of Evia and Porphyry of Kausokalybitos was celebrated with particular splendor, near the central parish Church of the Holy Forerunner of Levidus.

The Mass of Thyranoixia was performed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouria, Mr. Epifanios, flanked by the Protosigello of the Panosiol Metropolis. Chief Stefanos Cappe and the deacon Fr. Alexios Zarzani.

Afterwards, a solemn High Priestly Vespers was held outside the I. Chapel presided over by Metropolitan Mr. Epiphanios, flanked by the Protosigello Panosiol. Chief Stefanos Kappe, the Professor of the I. Monastery of Emyalon, Arcadia Panosiol. Chief Damaskinos, the Professor of the I. Monastery of Panagia Gorgoepikou of Arcadia Panosiol. Chief Nektarios, but also other Priests of the Metropolis.

Looks like a beautiful day in Levidi. Glad to see Metropolitan Epifanios with Fr. Stephanos and the abbots from Amyalon and Gorgoepikoos monasteries all together for the opening — must have been something to stand outside for that Vespers right by the new chapel. Saint Paisios would be pleased.

I am glad that Metropolitan Epiphanios served with Father Stefan and the abbots of Amialon and Gorgoepikoos. It is nice to see that so many believers have gathered just for St. Paisius, and the chapel seems to be nicely done. Thank God that things like this happen in Levidi.
