Registration for the Mixed Youth Choir of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens has beguntranslated

The Mixed Youth Choir of the Youth and Family Foundation of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens invites new members for its upcoming productions for the period 2026-2027. The Mixed Youth Choir deals with the polyphonic repertoire of Greek and foreign composers from the Middle Ages to the present day. It is made up of young men and women aged 18-35, with or without choral experience, with the sole aim of exploring the repertoire in question and presenting it at events in and outside of Athens. The choir is in its third consecutive year under the direction of Pavlos Kordis.

The program of the artistic season 2026-2027 includes collaborations with orchestral and instrumental ensembles, conductors, choirs and distinguished soloists.

Glad you saw it. Pavlos Kordis has done a very good job in the past two years, I remember their concert last year with a British conductor. I will tell my daughter who is 19 and has been singing since she was little, maybe she likes the repertoire.

Good idea, the repertoire from the Middle Ages to the present day sounds interesting. I will tell a friend of mine from Athens who is looking for a choir, he is 27 and has sung in a parish choir for years. Kordis really seems to know his business.

Good announcement. I remember seeing Pavlos Kordis last year at an event in Athens, he really works seriously with children. I will send it to a cousin of mine who is 24 and is looking for something polyphonic, maybe it will work for her.
