It is interesting how the Lord used those four lepers to be the first to discover that the enemy had fled. None of the healthy and strong in the city dared to go out, and those who had nothing to lose did. It reminds me how often we wait for someone else to do something when we are in trouble. Yes, Petre, that's exactly what caught my eye too - the "why should we sit here and wait for death" sounds like he said "let's try, it can't get any worse than this". I have also seen this in my life: when a person reaches the bottom, he usually takes the step that seemed impossible before.
