Visit of the Metropolitan of Mantineia to the Minister of Culturetranslated

In a particularly cordial and constructive atmosphere, the meeting of the Venerable Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouria, Mr. Epiphanios, with the Minister of Culture, Ms. Lina Mendoni, took place. During the meeting, issues related to the protection, restoration and promotion of the rich ecclesiastical and cultural heritage of the Holy Metropolis of Mantineia and Kynouria were discussed, as well as the possibilities of closer cooperation with the Ministry of Culture for the implementation of projects that will contribute to the preservation and promotion of the sacred monuments of Arcadia.

His Eminence expressed his warm thanks to the Minister for her constant interest in the protection of our cultural and ecclesiastical heritage, emphasizing that the monuments of the Church are valuable carriers of our history, faith and national identity.

For her part, the Minister assured His Eminence of the continued cooperation with the Holy Metropolis, with the aim of promoting actions that will highlight the priceless cultural wealth of the region.
