In the next period, the Energy Community of Citizens of Voia "Green Energy" is expected to be implemented, led by the Holy Metropolis of Monemvasia and Sparta and participants 15 Private Legal Entities of the local Church and Holy Monasteries. It is a project that is being implemented thanks to the unwavering interest of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Monemvasia and Sparta Mr. Efstathios and the coordinated actions of his worthy collaborators,

The goal of the Energy Community will be to ensure energy autonomy for the participants, through the operation of photovoltaic installations for the production of electricity in an area of our I. Metropolis in Elika. In this way, a particularly respectable amount will be saved annually, from almost entirely covering the electricity bills, so that the said structures of our local Church can continue their operation without interruption.
