Metropolitan Joseph of Buenos Aires had a series of contacts in Athenstranslated

The activities and pastoral ministry of the Greek Orthodox parishes of the Holy Metropolis of Buenos Aires were at the center of the meetings held in Athens by Metropolitan Mr. Iosif.   His Eminence had a meeting with the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Nikita Kaklamanis, whom he informed about the activities of the Church in South America.

Also, Metropolitan Iosif went to the Ministry of Education where he was received by the Minister Sofia Zacharakis and the General Secretary of Religious Affairs, Georgios Kalantzis.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Education, issues of cooperation related to Greek education in South America as well as the operation of the parishes there were discussed.

The last stop of the meetings was the Ministry of Tourism, where he was received by the Minister, Olga Kefalogianni, with whom they discussed the prospects of promoting religious tourism in South America as well.
