On the occasion of the celebratory events for the 200th anniversary of Hermoupoli, the Mayor of Psaro, Mr. Kostas Vratsanos, accompanied by the Mayor of Syros-Hermoupoli, Mr. Alexandros Athanasiou, paid a ceremonial visit to the Bishopric of Ermoupoli yesterday, the Reverend Mr. Dorotheos B'. During the meeting, they exchanged souvenirs, referred to the pairing of Psara and Hermoupolis and especially remembered the historical events of that time, the destruction of Chios and Psara, and the birth of Hermoupolis from their ashes.
