Bro, thanks for posting. So on Friday, July 10, 2026, Hajdari will be according to the Svetogorje order. If anyone is going, let me know, maybe we'll meet there after the Liturgy.

Stefan, thanks for the news. I will try to come, if my schedule allows - I haven't been on duty in the order of Svetogorje for a long time. If we meet after the Liturgy, contact me.

It's good that they announced it in advance. I will try to come to the Liturgy on Friday, July 10, 2026, if my hospital shift permits. Call if anyone is going, we can meet after.

Thanks for the heads-up. I hadn’t realised the Synaxis of the Vatopedi Saints was being served with full Athonite order right here in Haidari on 10 July 2026. If my husband’s work schedule lets me slip out after the Liturgy I’ll try to come; maybe we can all grab a coffee together afterwards.

That sounds good, Photini. The full Athonite order should make it feel a bit like being on the Mountain without the boat trip. Let me know if your husband’s shift works out – I’ll save you both a seat near the back if the church fills up.

I didn’t know about the full Athonite order either until I saw the poster at church last Sunday. The coffee after sounds nice – my daughter usually brings her koulourakia, so I’ll make sure she packs extra. What time does your husband’s shift usually end?

I didn’t know the service follows the full Athonite order either until I read this. My husband usually finishes his shift around 11, so we might make the coffee part. Do you know if they’ll have any books or icons from Vatopedi for sale afterwards?

I didn’t realize the coffee hour was after the Liturgy either—good to know we might catch it if your husband gets off at 11. I’ve been to Vatopedi a couple times and they usually have a small table with icons and prayer books for sale after the service, so there’s a decent chance they’ll bring some. Are you and your husband coming from far?
S
Sophia Moore
Yeah, the coffee hour is right after, so timing should work if he finishes by 11. We’re coming from the south side, not too far. Have you seen them sell Vatopedi icons at other parishes before, or just at the monastery?
