Hellenic Red Cross: The new mission with nursing staff strengthens Mobile Hospitals in earthquake-stricken Venezuelatranslated

The second echelon of solidarity of the Hellenic Red Cross (E.E.S) to the victims of Venezuela, consisting of seven (7) experienced nurses, has been installed since Monday (13/7) reinforcing the difficult and superhuman work of the Red Cross of Venezuela, to support the tens of thousands of injured and displaced citizens who caused by the deadly earthquake. In particular, the nursing staff of the E.E.S. provides nursing care and first aid services at the Mobile Hospital that has been installed at the La Guaira stadium as well as at the "San Jose" outdoor hospital, in an area that has been literally flattened by the devastating earthquake. At the same time, they strengthen the support actions of the affected, participating in the distribution of humanitarian material and basic necessities.

It is recalled that the EES appeals to those who wish to contribute financially to the victims of Venezuela. Thank God that our sisters got there. Seven experienced nurses in La Guaira and San Jose - it's real help, not just words. I hope they get more donations soon, because when everything is razed to the ground, every box of food and bandages counts.

Thank God our sisters are already there. Seven experienced nurses in La Guaira and at the San Jose field hospital are a real support when everything around is in ruins. I will pray that they have enough medicine and strength.

Those seven nurses landing in La Guaira and San José on Monday is exactly the kind of hands-on help that matters when a whole town is flattened. I’ll drop a little something in the collection box at church this Sunday; every box of bandages counts, like Katarina said.
