Feast of the memory of Saints Euphrates and Epiphanios, Bishops of Elefthernitranslated

On Saturday morning, October 17, 2026, in Eleftherna Rethymno, the memory of the Holy Hierarchs Euphrates and Epiphanius, Bishops of Elefthernia, who took part, respectively, in the 4th and 7th Ecumenical Councils, was solemnly celebrated. Following the invitation of the Reverend Pastor, Metropolitan of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, Mr. Prodromos, during the liturgy Orthros, the Most Reverend Bishop of Assos, Mr. Timotheus, Assistant Bishop of the Holy Metropolis of Mexico of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, officiated during the Orthro, who then celebrated the High Priestly Divine Liturgy.

The Patriarch of the Holy Metropolis, His Eminence Archimandrite Parthenios Kalyvianakis, spoke about the Holy Bishops Euphrates and Epiphanius.
