Metropolitan Volokolamsk met with hierarchs of the Church of Cyprustranslated

On July 22, 2026, the Metropolitan of Volokolamsk, Mr. Antonios, President of the Department of External Church Relations (ECR) of the Moscow Patriarchate, continuing his visit to Cyprus with the blessing of His Beatitude the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, etc. Kyrillou, visited the Morphou Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus. The Metropolitan of Morphou Neophytos warmly welcomed the President of TEES at his residence in the village of Evrycho.

On the same day, Metropolitan Antonios visited the metochi of the Kykkos Monastery in Nicosia, where he had fraternal communion with the abbot of the monastery, Metropolitan Kykkos and Tellyrias Nikiforos.

Concluding his stay in Cyprus, the President of TEES met with the Metropolitan of Limassol Athanasios and, accompanied by the Metropolitan, visited the Cathedral of the Most Holy Theotokos.

During the meetings, various topics concerning Orthodox relations were discussed.
