The Synaxis of the Holy Twelve Apostles was celebrated with feelings of spiritual joy, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in the Holy Metropolitan Church of Agia Paraskevi of the Community of Therapies, a day on which the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Geron Derko, Mr. Apostolos, conducts his septs. On the eve of the holiday, the Great Solemn Vespers and Orthros were held, according to the order of the Saints, while on the day of the holiday, a High Priestly Divine Liturgy was held with a sacristan, presided over by our celebrating Pastor.

The Holy Liturgy was attended by the Most Reverend Metropolitans of Kydonia, Mr. Athenagoras, as a representative of His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomew, Mr. Maximos of Silivria, Mr. Joachim of Prousia, Mr. Theodoros of Seleucia and Mr. Grigorios of Ankara, Proto-Secretaries of the Patriarchates as well and the Theophilist Bishops of Halicarnassus Mr. Adrianos, Mr. Kassianos of Arabissos, Abbot of the Holy Monastery of Agia Triados Chalkis, and Mr. Paisios of Xanthoupolis. Also present were His Eminence Archimandrite Fr. Gideon Varytimos, representative of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Saranda, Mr. Andreou, Lord Officials of the Holy...
