Scholarship of Priest Theodoros Scarpatranslated

After much grief, the local Church of Kalavryta and Aegialia informs the Christ-named crew that on Sunday July 5th, at the age of 94, Protopresbyter Theodoros Scarpas, Retired Vicar of the Metropolitan Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos (Phaneromeni) of Aigio, passed away to the Lord. Blessed Father Theodoros was born in 1932 in the Local Community of Lefkasi, Municipality of Kalavryta. He was a married Clergyman and the father of four children. The deceased was strongly characterized by his profound faith in God and his devotion to our Holy Church.

The tabernacle of the migrating Priest will be in the Metropolitan Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos (Phaneromeni) Aigio on the evening of Tuesday, July 7 AD, from 5:00 p.m. Afterwards, at 6:00 p.m., the Exodus Mass will be chanted and then the burial will take place at the Aegio Cemetery.
