Wishes of the Patriarch of Serbia to Onufrios of Kyiv on his 82nd birthdaytranslated

The Patriarch of Serbia, Mr. Porphyry. His Beatitude sent a congratulatory letter, both on behalf of the staff of the Church of Serbia and personally, addressing warm wishes to Metropolitan Mr. Onufrio who turned 82 last Thursday, November 5.

In his message, the Patriarch Mr. Porphyrios refers to the Metropolitan of Kiev with brotherly love, thanking God for Divine providence and wishing him life, peace, health and salvation.

At the same time, he expresses the hope that he will continue to lift up with zeal and courage the cross of his arch-pastoral ministry "and of the leadership of the long-suffering Ukrainian Orthodox Church".

At the same time, he invoked the embassies of all the Saints that the Ukrainian land has raised, as well as of the entire triumphant Church of Christ, in order to strengthen the celebrant in his pastoral work.
