Finally, His Holiness wished all the faithful.

On the morning of Wednesday, July 8, His Holiness went to the village of Thurio, where he attended the Divine Liturgy held at the Holy Church of Agios Prokopios and blessed the offered breads, with the participation of the villagers. At the end of the Liturgy, His Holiness spoke about the Great Martyr Agios Procopios, he referred to the historic little church...

Thank you for telling me. I especially remember how Bishop George, before his dismissal, analyzed in detail the apolitik of St. Procopius and explained what a real “martyriya” is. Our choir is singing this troparion, and now I will listen to it differently. And in Turio, they say, there is a very old church - I wonder if the frescoes there have been preserved?

Good that they mentioned it about Thurio. The little church of Agios Prokopios there is indeed very old, from the 12th century I think, and the Metropolitan did well to speak about it after the Liturgy. I have heard the apolytikium that he analyzed with Stavros and Veliar for years in the psalter, but now I will pay more attention to it.
