In the framework of the International Scientific Conference on "The Holy and Great Synod of the Orthodox Church (2016-2026): Assessments and Prospects", Irini Christinaki, Professor of Canon Law, School of Theology, EKPA, spoke. Before developing my topic, I would like to express my gratitude for the honorable invitation to participate in this conference with a presentation in the capacity of an academic researcher. This conference, from an ecclesiological perspective, is part of the Synod after the Synod. As a member of our Church, I am overwhelmed with emotion because I was given the opportunity to participate in the church event.
