Children from Georgia are currently hosted at the Patriarchal Children's Camp of the island of Protis. On this occasion, they visited the headquarters of the Mother Church in Fanari, where they had a meeting with His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch, Mr. Bartholomew. The Patriarch Mr. Bartholomew also welcomed members of a government delegation from Abkhazia/Georgia, where they visited the Fanari to thank His Holiness for hosting the children.

It's nice that the children from Georgia could go to the camp on the First Island and meet Patriarch Bartholomew. What surprised me is that the government delegation from Abkhazia also came to personally thank for the hospitality.

My older daughter once attended a similar camp on the First Island, and what she remembered most was the moment when the patriarch personally greeted them. I wonder if those Georgian children also talked about how much they enjoyed swimming in the sea there.
