The Feast of Saint Paisius in Buyende, Eastern Ugandatranslated

With special joy on 12 / 07, the memory of Saint Paisios was celebrated in the Buyende region of Eastern Uganda, where the Primary School "Saint Paisios" was founded. The school is being built with the love and financial support of friends of the Mission from Larissa and will meet an important need of the local community.

With the contribution of the same donors, a Children's Center and a Holy Church dedicated to Christ the Savior have already been created.

May Saint Paisios bless the benefactors, the people of Buyende, and protect this project, for the glory of God and the benefit of the children and families of the area.

I am glad that "Agios Paisios" school is moving to Buyende. I remember how much the children there need to learn, just like my own here in Homs. I wish the Holy One to bless the donors from Larissa and to protect the Children's Center and the church.

Glad the school is already in business, Gregory. They say there are about two hundred families in the area; many children used to walk 7 kilometers. As for fishing, the Nile River is nearby, catfish and tilapia are found, but the locals fish more with nets than with a fishing rod. Maybe it's really worth going and seeing.
