In today's Gospel passage we heard, among other things, "...what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" . Here we should stop and realize that there really is no exchange for the human soul.

Man is a mystery and the supreme creation of God. It participates in two worlds: the visible and the invisible, the terrestrial and the heavenly.

In our current times, when technology is developing feverishly by man himself, and artificial intelligence tends to dominate, many think that they know man well. But no one knows man well, except the creator God. Anyone who claims to know himself or other people well is deceiving himself.

Man is not a stone to be analyzed. It is not an algebraic equation to equate him. It is not even a one-sided material object to objectify. No matter how much anthropologists, psychosurgeons and technologists want to dissect him, man will remain for them this...
