Meeting of the Metropolitan of Kydonia with the employees of the Chania General Hospitaltranslated

The Venerable Metropolitan of Kydonia and Apokoronou, Mr. Titos, President of the Organization for the Management of Monastic Property of the Prefecture of Chania, met today, Thursday, July 23, 2026, with the representatives of the Employees' Association of the General Hospital of Chania in an exceptional atmosphere. He informed them fully about the legal status governing the shops owned by O.D.M.P. N. Chania in the premises of the Hospital, presenting historical data and decisions concerning the leases of building "O", which is located within the premises of the General Hospital of Chania "Agios Georgios", the construction of which was carried out on an area of the Church that was granted free of charge by the Organization. It was emphasized that building "O" has already been leased to the Institute for Research & Education of Psychiatric / Alzheimer's Patients (a civil non-profit corporation), as early as February 2025, following all legal procedures, so the matter is considered closed.

As can be seen from the past, the Organization for the Administration of Monastic Property of the Prefecture of Chania had demonstrated and continues to demonstrate a good willingness to cooperate with the Employees' Association. In the context…
